研究领域和兴趣：
设计和合成对生物分子具有包覆、键合、吸附功能的无机、聚合物材料，选择和发展优良的固定方法，研究生物电极的生物电化学特性，以及在生物电化学传感器和生物燃料电池中的应用；导电高分子的合成、性能及其在二次电池、化学传感器中的应用研究；生物燃料电池与生物电催化研究。

获奖情况：
1997年获教育部科技进步三等奖（排名第三）；
2004年获江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师培养人选；
2008年获江苏省“青蓝工程”中青年学术带头人培养人选；
2009年获江苏省“333工程”科学技术带头人培养对象；
2005年获江苏省优秀教学成果二等奖（排名第二）；
2007年获江苏省优秀教学成果二等奖（排名第二）.
