Recently, with the use high integration and lightweight products, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) has become a serious problem. Therefore, research on EMI shielding materials is increasing to solve the problem. Metal as EMI shielding materials has excellent properties. However they have problems such as high weight and corrosion. In the paper, we fabricated carbon composite nanofiber web to evaluate the EMI shielding properties. Carbon composite nanofiber web contained BaTiO3 nanoparticles and Fe3O4 nanoparticles was manufactured by electrospinning and carbonization process. The electromagnetic shielding properties were confirmed by the weight fraction of nanoparticles. The carbon nanofiber web without nanoparticles showed the lowest EMI shielding property of about 10 dB. It was confirmed that the absorption property of EMI shielding carbon nanofiber web to which the nanoparticles were added was improved than that of the carbon nanofiber web without nanoparticles. However, reflection property was about 3 dB for all samples regardless of the presence of nanoparticles. When 20 wt.% BaTiO3 nanoparticle was added to carbon nanofiber, the highest EMI SE was obtained (23 dB). Also the carbon nanofiber added to 20 wt.% Fe3O4 nanoparticle have EMI shielding property of 20.5 dB. Finally, the carbon composite nanofiber web with BaTiO3 nanoparticle and Fe3O4 nanoparticle added to 20 wt.% (7: 3, 5: 5, 3: 7) had EMI shielding property of 20 dB regardless of the ratio.
