This research concerns the development of a composite gel polymer electrolyte based on poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) nanofibers. The nanofibers containing La2O3 nanofiller were fabricated via an electrospinning process. The aim of this work was to investigate the effects of elctrospining conditions and nanofiller content on morphology and electrolyte properties of the materials. After adding La2O3 nanoparticles into the polymer solution, percentage crystallinity values of the electrospun composite decreased. The addition of La2O3 also resulted in an increase in ion conductivity values of the composite gel polymer electrolyte. The maximum conductivity value of the electrolyte obtained in this study was 1.43x10(-3) S/cm. [GRAPHICS] .
