PPV nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning PPV precursor solution in solvent mixtures of ethanol/water. PPV nanofibers with smooth surface were obtained when the ethanol/water ratio was 70/30 (w/w) and the average diameter was 653 nm. The fluorescence peak positions of fibers were in 515 and 550 nm, which were the same as that of PPV film.
