The TiO2/ZnO nanofibers (Ti/Zn = 10/3) were prepared by electrospinning method. The morphology of the samples was investigated by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), indicating that the diameter was about 80 nm. The detailed structural characterization of the TiO2/ZnO nanofibers was done by X-ray diffraction and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) which confirmed that the structure possessed the mix of TiO2 anatase structure and ZnO wurtzite structure. The magnetic property of the synthesized products was examined by superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) and the result indicated that the products exhibited clear room-temperature ferromagnetism (RTFM) which changed with the different Ti/Zn molar ratios. The observed RTFM may be from vacancies generated in the interface of TiO2/ZnO.
